NMPA Releases Medical Device Approval List

On June 22, 2026, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) published the latest batch of medical device approval certificate delivery information.

Key figures:

Total approvals: 150 products

Domestic approvals: 101 products

Imported approvals: 49 products (including those from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan)

The approvals cover a broad spectrum: surgical navigation systems, external defibrillators, MRI systems, gene sequencers, respiratory support devices, and a wide range of in vitro diagnostic reagents–reflecting both domestic innovation and continued access to international technologies.

Joint replacement surgical navigation systems

Implantable rechargeable deep brain neurostimulators

Semi‑automatic external defibrillators

Multiplex PCR test kits for COVID‑19, influenza A/B, and RSV

Notable imported approvals include:

Electrophysiological mapping systems
