NMPA Releases Medical Device Termination Registration Review Notice — August 19, 2026

On August 19, 2026, the National Medical Products Administration published the latest batch of Medical Device Termination Registration Review Notice delivery information.

According to the announcement, a total of 5 medical device products have been terminated from registration review, spanning cardiovascular intervention, tumor ablation, urological surgery, and ophthalmology:

l Acceptance No. CQZ2501026: Disposable Coronary Intravascular Shockwave Catheter, applicant: Shenzhen Shunmei Medical Co., Ltd.

l Acceptance No. CQZ2600904: Disposable Microwave Ablation Needle, applicant: Hangzhou Xianou Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd.

l Acceptance No. CQZ2601219: Disposable Prostate Surgery Waterjet Resection Device, applicant: Beijing Zhiyu Medical Technology Co., Ltd.

l Acceptance No. CQZ2601222: Prostate Surgery Positioning Resection Waterjet System, applicant: Beijing Zhiyu Medical Technology Co., Ltd.

l Acceptance No. JQY2500772: Pre-loaded Yellow Hydrophobic Acrylic Intraocular Lens, applicant: Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, agent: Carl Zeiss (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd.

Of particular note, Beijing Zhiyu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. had two products terminated simultaneously — the disposable prostate surgery waterjet resection device and its accompanying prostate surgery positioning resection waterjet system.
